We all have voices from the past, present, and future haunting us.
It may be a memory of something your father said that replayed in your mind thousands of times morphing the hurt into hate of others or self.
There is most certainly a person right now being mentally and/or verbally abused. Being called less than. Being called unworthy. Being called useless.
And even now, some of you listening or reading may be thinking anxiously about actions you or others have yet to take.
Ask yourself now, who do these voices serve?
What purpose are the moments that hurt us in the past only to be carried through time as an echo repeating themselves to our conscience every so often.
What purpose are the moments happening right now forcing you to accept your inner voice or another’s voice convincing you that you are meaningless.
What purpose are the moments of thought projection from your voice or another’s, which paralyze you in a state of life that is uncomfortable and even in nervous pain.
Sure, we can squeeze the lemon life handed us that are those voices, add sugar, and say see! It’s not all bad.
But we can also know for certain that these voices serve a purpose mainly in opposition to your purpose.
So let this be a voice that resonates through all those moments. Haunting moments now and haunting moments to come, let this resounding message permeate through the noise and mess that those voices feed and keep alive. Let this message drown out the nagging and the fear and the hate that manifest from the seed those voices plant. Let this message take the moments away from the voices.
Let it take those moments and turn them into music. Like a resounding om, vibrating through your vocal chords. Let this message vibrate through your mind.
The message is, fuck off.
Take that message, and however you want to amplify it, let it be. Let it hit the highs and rattle the lows. Let it soak through the top of your head down through your toes taking with it the message the haunting voices carried. Let it fill you and eventually tickle your humor as you realize that abusive voice’s stage was taken by two words and the same echo that kept them alive for so long.
So just like that terrible thing that your Loved one might have said to you, the message that you wonder about frequently, we now have our message to it.
